Thanks for the congratulations everyone! I'm really excited about everything I was able to get last night. I'll try to post pictures soon. As you can tell I'm somewhat challenged when it comes to pictures. I keep telling my DH that I'd like to get an avator up on this board but I still haven't done it.
Dreaming of Dolls: I did get several Kirsten outfits such as the school dress, the midsummer outfit and the special checked dress with the apron and yellow scarf! My DD is very into Kirsten right now so I think these will be saved for the holidays.
I also got a couple of Molly items (her plaid jumper outfit and her red school bag); three Samantha outfits (the middy dress with the really cute white boots, the white tea dress and the blue play dress); and Felicity's school ouftit and her fashion doll. I also bought several today outfits such as the Karate outfit, the black swimsuit (with visor and towel), the sporty school outfit and the earth day outfit. All the outfits were anywhere between $8 - $20.
Heather (JRTMom3274) - I still haven't gotten my #26. I'm so jealous that you got your doll last Friday! She still could come today as our UPS guy sometimes comes between 4:00 - 5:00 and it is just about 4:00 here now.
Thanks again everyone for your good wishes. I definately have gotten some good deals off of Craigslist in the past. If you live in a city with Craigslist I definately recommend checking every so often to see if anyone is selling American Girl items! Also, any of you in the Seattle area, you may want to check out this sale as she had a lot of items left (as of last night)! - Meg B.

Hi everyone. I wanted to share about my great experience. A woman posted on Saturday on Craigs list (Seattle area) that she was preparing for a garage sale for next weekend and had several larger American Girl/bitty baby furniture items for sale. She also mentioned that she was sorting through additional items and would have more. I gave her a call about a half hour after she listed her posting and said I didn't have space for larger furniture but my daughter and I would be very interested in clothing and smaller accessories. She said she'd put my name down on a list and call me back after she went through everything. As I was the first person to contact her, I was able to be the first person to look through the for sale items! I spent an hour at her house last night as she had about a hundred items (dolls, clothing, accessories, furniture, etc.) She also had about three other family's stuff as well! I was able to purchase a pre-matel Felicity who is in wonderful shape for $45. She doesn't have any clothing but I love her! I've been looking for one for quite a while. In addition I got about 15 outfits and a few smaller accessories. It was so much fun to look through all of her items and see so many things in person which I had only seen in pictures!
By the way, if you live in the Seattle area, check out Craigslist (search on American Girl)as she now has a second listing talking about her garage sale which will happen Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday! She had one or two more people looking individually after me but then I think the remaining items will be in the sale. She had about 10 dolls including two Kirstens, three Samanthas, about 3 or 4 today girls and the blond bitty twins. She also has a lot of furniture such as Felicity's bed (without bedspread), three molly beds, etc. Sorry about the long message but I just had to tell someone about my find! - Meg B.
